2. Carry on Baggage Allowances
All International
- Economy:
- 1 x 115cm bag or
- 1 x 185cm non rigid garment bag
- 7kg (15lbs) per piece
3. Checked Baggage Allowances
Travel to/from USA, US Territories, Tahiti, South America and Canada^ via the Pacific
- Business/Economy: 2 pieces
- Total dimensions* of the 2 pieces must not exceed 270cm (106in) with no 1 piece exceeding 158cm (62in)
- 32kg (70lbs) per piece
^ If your itinerary involves a combination of flights to/from the USA and any other international destinations (eg Sydney Los Angeles London Singapore Sydney) the baggage allowance that applies on flights to the USA will apply for the entire journey. If you are travelling with other airlines we recommend you check with them regarding their baggage policy.
Higher limits for baggage
A passenger can request a higher limit of liability by making a special declaration at check-in and paying a fee. Alternatively, passengers should ensure that their baggage is fully insured prior to travel.
Products and Services | Unaccompanied Baggage
To avoid excess baggage charges, you can send excess baggage as unaccompanied baggage. This alternative means of transporting your personal belongings may not offer the convenience of having your baggage travel on your flight, but can provide a significant cost saving.
